ACTING
Garth Holcombe’s career has spanned the Film, Television and Theatre industries both in Australia and Internationally. A graduate of the NIDA, he has also studied at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art London, and has lived in and worked as an actor in Australia, London and New York.

ARCHDUCHESS/ARCHDUKE in Orlando: STC, RUDY in Bent: Company B Belvoir, HOLGER in The Pigeons: Griffin Theatre Company, EVAN in As Bee’s in Honey Drown: Darlinghurst Theatre, WOLF in Mammon Inc: Action Theatre Singapore, FADINARD in An Italian Straw Hat: East Coast Theatre Company, MR SMITH in The Bald Soprano: NIDA Theatres, and BASTIAN in Mr Kolpert: PantsGuys/ ATYP. He has played the tole of ALEXANDRE DUMAS in Songs for the Fallen at the Old Fitz Hotel, Seymour Centre Sydney, New York Music Theatre festival and for the Sydney Festival 2016 at the world famous Spiegeltent.
Garth has also worked as an actor for The Sydney Symphony Orchestra, The Australian Chamber Orchestra and his Australian tours include SHAKESPEARE’S R&J, and RAINBOW’S END for Parramatta Riverside Theatre as well as ACTORS AT WORK for the The Bell Shakespeare Company, Australia.
Screen credits include Head Start: ABC, Home and Away: Network 7, All Saints: Network 7, numerous short films, TV commercials, and his radio credits include extensive work for ABC Radio National as well as commercial voice overs.
Garth teaches Shakespeare in the Advanced Diploma of Acting for Contemporary Screen Media course offered at Sydney Actors School.
