VOICE 

Patrick is an educator and coach specialising in voice, text, dialect, and acting.

He is a graduate of the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) and holds a Master of Fine Arts in Voice. In 2024, after apprenticing with Patsy Rodenburg, OBE, he was designated a Patsy Rodenburg Associate (PRA) teacher. His teaching has also been influenced by major theatre practitioners Declan Donnellan, Peter Hall, Barbara Houseman, and Stella Adler.

Patrick works regularly with students at Actors Centre Australia, JMC Academy, NIDA, and Sydney Actors School. He has also taught at the Adelaide College of the Arts (former lead tutor), Flinders University Drama Centre, Rose Bruford College, and the University of Wollongong. He has been a guest teaching artist at Belvoir St Theatre, Sport for Jove, and the State Theatre Company of South Australia (STCSA).

Recent coaching highlights include King Lear at Belvoir St Theatre (dir. Eamon Flack), and NIDA BFA productions of Mary Stuart (dir. Marion Potts), Photograph 51 (dir. David Berthold), Spring Awakening (dir. Claudia Osborne), and Frankenstein (dir. Benjamin Schostakowski). In 2026, Patrick will be directing a production of Four Quartets by T.S. Eliot at The Old Fitz Theatre.

Patrick is a past recipient of the Mike Walsh Fellowship.
