Melody Joy Frith is an actor and dancer from the Blue Mountains.

Growing up, Mel fell in love with all things arts, trained intensively in ballet part time and competed in the Alana Haines Awards, as well as earned Distinctions from the Royal Academy of Dance. In her time at Sydney Actors School she has been directed by Felix Williamson and Anna Houston, and utilised her dance skills to choreograph for ‘Girl Asleep’ (dir. Kate Gaul). Mel was also the lead actor in her cohort’s graduate film, ‘Fertile Ground’ (dir. Genevieve Michie). Outside of SAS, she has been featured in short film ‘INFINT3’ and theatre piece ‘Mass Effect’. Mel is looking forward to graduating and continuing to find connections between drama and movement in her career.
