Kate Moore is an actor and musician based in Sydney.
Growing up in rural NSW, her main creative outlets were her instruments and community theatre. Kate performed in her first show, ‘Annie’, at the age of 8, and from then on knew that she wanted to be an actor. She pursued this love for acting at Sydney Actors School, performing in plays directed by Megan O’Connell, Kim Hardwick, and Anna Houston, and working with renowned tutors such as Garth Holcombe, Lyn Pierse and Pip Edwards. Kate also directed the short film ‘Rare Cuts’. Through her training, she has further developed her acting and filmmaking skills, finding a particular interest in lighting for stage. Whether on stage or behind the scenes, Kate hopes to find new ways to challenge herself and connect with others through her creative endeavours.
