Morgann Pratt is a Sydney-based actor.
Growing up with a musical theatre-loving mother, performance was always a big part of her childhood. This sparked a love of acting that led her to Sydney Actors School. Throughout her training, Morgann performed in ‘Girl Asleep’, directed by Kate Gaul, for which she also worked as an Assistant Director. Morgann also performed in and production managed Mary Zimmerman’s ‘Metamorphoses’, directed by Andrea Demetriades. Morgann finds comfort in historical works, being drawn to anything from the ancient tragedies to comedic Shakespeare, and has since found a love for contemporary screen, recently starring in Jade Baccon’s short film ‘Red Hot’. Whether on stage or screen, Morgann is excited to continue honing her creative practice as she enters the industry.
